Bringing in the First Week of Fall!

Cooler Weather, Colorful Days, and Plenty of Fall Fun!

There’s just something so special about welcoming a new season at The Academy of McKay’s Mill! We had the sweetest week celebrating the arrival of fall with fun activities, plenty of time outside, and lots of opportunities to make memories together.

We kicked off the week with Mini Golf, where our little golfers got to practice their skills, take turns, and enjoy some friendly fun in our Enrichment Room. 

Next, our school was full of fall colors for Fall Colors Dress-Up Day! Our classrooms were filled with little pops of autumn as our children and teachers dressed in their favorite fall shades. It was such a fun way to celebrate the changing season together. The temperatures started to drop right around the first day of fall, and we could not have asked for better timing. We’ve been soaking up every bit of that nice fall weather and making the most of our outdoor time.

We also got a little creative with Apple Stamping! Our children used apples and paint to create their own fall-inspired artwork. It was a simple activity that brought plenty of creativity, curiosity, and, of course, a little bit of colorful fun.

And what better way to wrap up our first week of fall than with Spoiled Rotten Photography here to capture some of our sweetest smiles for Fall Photos! We loved seeing our children all dressed for the season and getting those special photos that families can treasure forever.

From golf swings and apple art to fall colors and cooler days, it was the perfect first week of fall at The Academy of McKay's Mill. We’re excited for all the cozy, colorful, memory-filled days this season has in store!
