Celebrating Hanukkah

We are lucky enough to have some really special parents visit The Academy and share a little information, stories and traditions of the Jewish holiday, Hanukkah. Today we had Mrs. Rachel Kenyon visit our Pre-K Two class. She shared stories with the children and talked the 8 days of Hanukkah. Also, Mrs. Becca Stone came out this morning who also read stories to the children and also brought out the very common snack in Jewish tradition this time of year, jelly doughnuts! The kids had a great time and we so appreciate the family involvement. Happy Hanukkah!
