It's a bitter sweet time at The Academy right now as we had such a successful summer it's hard to say goodbye. The children had a great time with all the great themes. The last being Young Authors and we wanted to thank all the parents who participated in our book fair. It was a huge success!
We are SO proud to announce that The Academy of McKay's Mill was the winner of the best overall summer program in our company! Our teachers worked so hard all summer long to be sure that it was the best of the best. Not only in decorations, but also curriculum. It was a great feeling to be recognized by our peers! We proudly have our trophy at the front desk!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our End of the Summer party. It was also a huge success because of you. We are planning a family fall festival in October - stay tuned for details!
We are in full swing of our fall curriculum and having a great time so far! The teachers are so excited about the High Reach curriculum and already have implemented so many fantastic ideas to their classrooms. We are celebrating National Children's Art Month by having an art basket giveaway. Please take time to drop your child's name in the jar next to the basket on the counter. A winner will be announced next week!
