Happy Birthday AoMM

On Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 The Academy of McKay's Mill celebrated its ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY. And what a year its been!!! The Academy has already accomplished being voted number one in all of Williamson County. This achievement deserves a celebration. We had frogs everywhere...frog bowling, frog tattoos, frog stickers, frog car decals! The children put on a wonderful program showcasing all their musical talents. They even ended with a special song written by Ms. Sara and Mr. Jake called the "Academy Alma Mater". The children worked so hard to make this a special day. After wards, we all enjoyed each others company while having refreshments. That day we also recognized our teachers that have been with us the entire year - Ms. Olivia, Ms. Daphne, Ms. Linda, Ms. Miriam, Ms. Sadie, Ms. Nadia, Ms. Regina, Ms. Tamara, and Ms. Kristy. Thank you ladies for your dedication. Finally, we unveiled our new school flagpole. Whew, what a fun day!
