On August 29th The Academy of McKay's Mill welcomed every teacher from the Middle Tennessee Branch of Never Grow Up, Inc. for a day of fun and learning! We have over 120 guests! Teachers received training on transitions, CPR and First Aid, Music and Movement, Sign Language and much more! Even our very own McKay's Mill dad, Mr. Martinez, came to train our ladies! This proved to be the perfect jump start to our Fall program. We had an "Academy Award" theme down to a red carpet, Oscar statues, and popcorn lining the halls! Every director dressed as a famous actress! We had Cruella Deville, Ugly Betty, and even Angelina Jolie. The teachers all got a good laugh out of the silly costumes!
