Final Fitness Fanatics Friday: Parachute Play!

Fitness and fun came together this Friday at AOMM during our exciting Fitness Fanatics enrichment session! Preschool and Pre-K students had the opportunity to visit the enrichment room for a high-energy morning focused on movement, teamwork, and exercise.

One of the highlights of the day was parachute play. Using a colorful parachute, students worked together to lift, lower, shake, and move as a team. These activities encouraged cooperation, communication, and listening skills—all while getting their bodies moving and their hearts pumping.

Parachute play is more than just fun; it helps build gross motor skills, strengthens muscles, and supports social-emotional development. Students practiced taking turns, following directions, and working together toward a common goal. Smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the room as the children bounced balls, ran underneath the parachute, and celebrated their teamwork.

Fitness Fanatics Friday is a wonderful way to reinforce healthy habits at an early age while making exercise enjoyable and engaging. We loved seeing our Preschool and Pre-K students stay active, support one another, and have fun doing it!
