Tom the Turkey’s Dance Party at AOMM!
Our center was shaking its tail feathers this week thanks to a very special visitor—Tom the Turkey, who surprised us with a full-on Turkey Dance Party!
The Grand Entrance
Tom strutted into the Enrichment Room like a superstar, his colorful feathers bouncing with every step. The children gasped, giggled, and cheered as Tom gave a big, booming gobble—his way of saying, “Let’s get this party started!”
Music filled the room, and soon the children were showing Tom their best moves. Tom bobbed his head, fluffed his feathers, and circled around the room as the kids followed along, turning the classroom into a swirl of laughter, jumping feet, and wiggling wings.
Learning Through Movement
Even during the dance party, the children made discoveries:

The kids practiced listening skills during freeze moments and showed amazing creativity coming up with their own turkey-inspired dance moves.
