At The Academy of McKay's Mill, learning is an adventure, and it's no different when we dive into The Frogstreet themes of "All About Me," "Awesome Me," and "My School and Me." These themes inspire our little learners to discover and celebrate themselves, their unique qualities, and the world around them. In one engaging activity, we embarked on an exciting journey of self-discovery by creating an outline of the body and labeling the different parts.
In this activity, our friends had a hands-on experience as they learned about their bodies. Armed with colorful markers and a large body outline, they eagerly began labeling body parts like eyes, nose, mouth, hands, and feet. This activity not only encouraged fine motor skills but also instilled a sense of body awareness.
As we watched our young scholars immerse themselves in this task, it was heartwarming to see the pride in their eyes as they labeled their body parts.
