Celebrating MLK, Jr.

Monday we had a great time learning about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! The older children began by watching a short blurb on the computer about Dr. King's doings. Afterwards they were read a book with the history of the day's importance. Then they all made headbands that showed everyone what their dream. The kids learned a lot & were able to relate by having this hands on activity. Great job to all our teachers who put forth the effort of teaching our future leaders equality in a very simple way.
